RE: Basketball Seeding Meeting – Saturday, February 20th, 2010
DATE: January 25th, 2010
The seeding meeting for the Northern Section Basketball Playoffs will be held at Pleasant Valley High School in the Library
at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20th, 2010.
Remember you will not be getting seeding sheets from the teams. All results should be posted on
www.maxpreps.com. The teams are responsible for checking the accuracy of the information.
It would be a good idea for you to check out the www.maxpreps.com
and have an idea of your division prior to the seeding meeting. You are expected to be the expert on your division(s) both male and female.
Please remind teams to check www.maxpreps.com
for the accuracy of their schedule, results and an updated roster for the playoffs.
We need to discuss other issues at the seeding meeting as well:

1. Please bring the names of the top five senior boy basketball players and the top five senior girl basketball players in your league. The section all-star committee would like our input to make sure the most deserving players are at the All-Star
game |

2. Please bring any nominations you have for a male or female coach as Model coach of the year. |

3. Next year will be the new two year play-off cycle so we to have any changes in place this spring for next year.
Please look over the section basketball guidelines at www.cifns.org and bring any other issues which you feel need to be dealt with in regards to Basketball in our Section. |
Thanks for your help in these areas. I realize it is a little extra work for you, but I believe it makes for better basketball and representation
for our section. As always thanks for all your hard work.
