At 39 min of second half player #21 made contact with keeper of Hamilton during a corner kick., as she walked away the keeper apparently said something about the contact. Player #21 from Esparto returned 5 yards to the keeper and punched her. Keeper for Hamilton was cautioned and player #21 from Esparto was shown red card and ejected.

On February 10, 2007 at the Butte View League tournament I, Shannon Thompson and my assistant Steve Reese officiated the final match of the 152 pound weight class. The match consisted of Anderson of Gridley High School versus a Sutter High wrestler. During the match it grew quite intense, the wrestler from Sutter was winning the match and Anderson was becoming visibly frustrated. Anderson, who is normally a very physical wrestler, was in the top position when he threw two calked cross faces very aggressively. At this point,after the second one, I stopped the match and charged Anderson with unnecessary roughness and awarded the Sutter wrestler with a point. Then later in the match while the wrestlers were neutral, Anderson was trying to tie up to position himself to throw. While the wrestler from Sutter was attempting to back out and avoid tying up. At this point Anderson had his left arm positioned in an over hook, over the Sutter wrestlers right arm. The Sutter wrestler is trying to pull his arm free when Anderson lets go with his left arm caulks it back and aggressively swings at the Sutter wrestler’s head with his palm. It appeared to strike the Sutter wrestler causing him to turn his head and duck in a defensive motion. At this point I stopped the match and called flagrant misconduct on Anderson. I felt that Anderson, who was getting visibly frustrated, was out of control and was wrestling in an unsafe manner.
