had a run down between 3rd and home the catcher for hamilton obstructed the runner going back to home he did not have ball at the time the pitcher had t he ball the catcher shuld of got out of the way he did not so i called odstruction when the play was over i called time and said that i have obstruction run scores. the ass. coach for ham. came at me screaming i told him that iwas not going to tale to him i would talk to the head coach only i walk away at that time he came at me agin he step in front of me and bomp me at that point i told him that he had to go his #was 6. the other ass coach called me a pussy i told him he also had to go. no number for him he had none. rule 8/3/2

Ball hit to outfield, runner trying to score from second base rounded third toward home. Catcher catches the ball four feet down the third base line prior to contact. Runner lowered shoulder and body, stepped up, extended shoulder to catchers’ body. Upon contact runner extended elbow through the body. I asked coach if he understood why the call was made he said he did.

PV #24 at the plate with one strike. I called a pitch on the outside corner. #24 said,"I can't reach that pitch". I ignored the comment. The next pitch was on the outside corner and I called strike three. The batter then threw the bat but not in a violent manner. I gave him a warning and went to my position on the third base line. As #24 came across the diamond toward his dugout, he stared me down for a lengthy period of time. I considered the the previous comment and the throen bat and decided he needed to leave the game. I ejected him. I then turned and went back to the plate area. My partner informed me later that he put his fingers to his lips and "blew me a kiss". The coach immediately took charge and ordered him to the dugout. He left the dugout area and quietly left the playing area. Later, between games, #24 came to the parking lot and apologised. I believe this was an isolated incident and probably won't be an ongoing problem. Respectfully submitted, Roy Giusti

The assistant coach ran onto the field, without requesting "time," bumped the Base Umpire (John Batchelder) and argued balls and strikes. The base umpire had ruled a checked swing a strike. The coach left the field of play immediately after the ejection and there were no further problems.
